Denali Hideaway is located a half mile off of the Parks Highway, nestled in the small town of Healy, just 11 miles north of Denali National Park. Robin's Roost was built in 2019 and located in Healy, Alaska, a beautiful 12 mile drive north of Denali National Park on the Parks Highway. Robin's Roost is a suite on the same property as owner's home and features two queen beds, one bath with stand up shower, sitting area, WiFi, TV and kitchenette with coffee maker, compact fridge and microwave. The suite is located above the garage, you must be able to climb up/down 17 steps. Come enjoy all Alaska has to offer without spending a fortune on your overnight accommodations.

Our little cabin is nestled among the trees but not far from all the conveniences of town. Located 13 miles north of the Denali National Park entrance and only 2 miles from the grocery store, local restaurants, pharmacy, bank and gas stations. Come home to the peaceful cabin after a long day in the park and relax on the spacious deck while listening to the birds or soaking in the mountain views. The kitchen has all of the necessary items to cook up a home-cooked meal and is fully furnished with a stove, microwave, toaster and full size refrigerator. A BBQ grill is also available if you prefer to grill outside on the deck. The cabin is small (600sq ft) but well laid out for a family. With a queen bedroom, a set of bunk beds and a sofa sleeper that can accommodate 5-6 people. Clean, newly renovated bathroom includes rain shower head, new vanity with large mirror. Amenities include fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans and dishes, microwave, coffee maker & filters, oven, refrigerator, propane grill, and streaming WiFi. Depending on the time of year you visit, don't be surprised if you wake to a moose and her calf in the yard. We often have early morning or late night visitors helping themselves to the willow in our yard!

Our yard is literally millions of acres of pristine wilderness. We are the last power pole in our tiny neighborhood. Our driveway is off a gravel road and the tundra comes up to our door which attracts lots of Moose, Fox, Caribou, Lynx, Snowshoe Hares & last year we saw our first Wolf in the yard. We have great wildflowers in the yard in June & July and you can pick blueberries right out our front door in August & September. The views of Mt. Healy & the Northern Alaska Range are spectacular. You stay at The Denali Park View House for the sense of truly being in the Alaska Wilderness, yet you are only 1-mile off The Parks Hwy, with all the creature comforts of a modern home. With all Brand new pillow top mattresses and newly remodeled bedrooms and bathrooms you will feel right at home. We have Direct TV in the living room with a new HDTV and high speed wireless internet throughout the house. AT&T 4g network provides a strong signal. The truth of the matter is you rent our home to be with your family and friends and to have a truly Alaskan Experience with all the creature comforts you'd expect. They sell boxed lunches and fruit and snacks and have a red food truck out front with delicious cheap eats. We provide all linens, towels, hand soap, toilet paper, dish soap, sponges, dishwasher soap, trash bags & paper towels. The coffee maker does not need filters. We also supply laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner & bath soap. There is also a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Our kitchens are well equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve your meals. We supply the propane for the outdoor BBQ. You need to supply your own firewood for the outdoor fire pit. You can buy bundles of wood when you buy groceries. You can drink our water. We do not have recycling. We supply an outdoor dumpster for garbage. 95% of people who come to Denali only ride the bus 1 day. We recommend booking your bus trip well in advance. There is only 1 road so a more expensive bus takes the same route as the least expensive bus. We recommend taking the bus to Eielson Visitor Center. It’s an 8-9 hour day and you see the best part of the park. Most people don’t get off the bus except at rest stops. You can get off and hike around and wait for the next bus. All our properties are on the park boundary and you have traveled a long way. One day enjoying the surroundings does not cost anything and can be quite rewarding (You are as likely to view wildlife from our living room as you are inside the park). You are living in the middle of interior Alaska. As far as all the other organized activities in our area we recommend you book those upon arrival depending on weather and your group’s desires. Rafting, flight seeing, horseback riding, biking, golf, fishing, ATV, Jeep Tours and much more are all available and all their brochures are displayed in our homes. A Second Home has four bedrooms and two and a half bedrooms, LARGE dining room, kitchen and living room, and laundry room. Each bedroom has its own TV and there is a LARGE screen TV in the living room. You will most likely see more trees and mountains than people when you are here. There is a LARGE deck. It's the only Denali vacation rental with a completely paved driveway and parking area and two acres of quiet lawns and woodlands. Owners are year-round Alaskans who have been hosting guests for 32 years in the Denali Area. Rental cars and savings on railroad tickets, flights, fjords trip, etc throughout the State are available through them. Free pick up and delivery from 9-9 with rental car reservations.
